Content
The special design of the VIKING S30 liferaft means that service intervals by VIKING authorized service stations can be extended up to a maximum of 30 months instead of 12 month service intervals for a standard liferaft.
At intervals not exceeding 12 months the crew are responsible for performing an onboard inspection of the liferaft that includes testing the environment inside the aluminium pouch as well as a visual inspection of the liferaft container.
