Benny Carlsen joined VIKING Life-Saving Equipment in 2002 as Sales and Marketing Director for VIKING’s activities in Asia.

In 2010, Benny Carlsen transferred from Singapore to Bergen, Norway as Vice President for the Northern European region and VIKING’s global offshore activities. Following a promotion, he moved to the VIKING headquarters in Denmark in 2016 as Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing. In 2020, he was appointed SVP, Commercial and in 2022 SVP, Global Sales & Service. Benny Carlsen joined Group Management in 2010.

Benny Carlsen has a Bachelor of Technology Management and Marine Engineering, supplemented with an MBA from the University of South Australia.
